Standard poodles make very good pets. Why do you think there is a whole doodle kingdom out there trying to improve other breeds with the POO this or POO that? Because POOdles are the BEST dogs you can own. Apart from non-shedding and hypoallergenic, most people I've talked to say "I don't want a foo foo poodle, I want a jogging partner or a hunting dog or one that doesn't yap." Or I want one that just lays around by me or on my lap. Well, standards ARE those kinds of dogs! When people come to the door, you dont hear "Yap yap". These guys are sooo versitile and look so Majestic! Mine sit with me as a foot warmer! But also ride in the car and go for walks and jogs.
Colors in some of the pics are OFF and it makes them look apricot but they are more CREAM and TANS than anything. One is a light bisque color solid all over big boy..gorgeous.The pic with the three--two of those has tanish ears with White all over--One, though, will probably will be white when grown, the others will be lightly creamed colors. Not squirmy when held at all. They all love love love to be held. Dew claws are removed, tails docked will have 1st shots, wormed and vet checked before going to their new homes. Since they are raised inside, I have been already pottypad training them! They walk right over and go right on the pad. They have not been in a chain-link puppy kennel where all you have to do is sweep up poop. I did the work on these puppies and they LOVE LOVE people!
