A Mini Potty pad trained Doxie! Is your perfect Dachshund? Lets chat. in Salem, Oregon For Sale

Roscoe is a true mini. Hard to see in the picture but Roscoe has a white tip on the end of his tail!!! His quiet personality brings fun and laughter into our home. Each day we have a routine..Doxies love routine and respond to it very well. They get up and go potty FIRST. With potty pads at the ready I open the crates and out they come in a flash. Running in circles Roscoe makes it back to the potty pads quickly! Remember with Dachshunds there are two parts to training to go potty and they are separate things to a Doxie..but more on that at another time. After Roscoe is finished he is hungry and thirsty of course. The stainless steel or seamless glass bowls are waiting full of fresh water and plenty of food to be put down for them.. Puppies need that crunch of kibble in each bite to get those teeth growing in and yes they lose those first set of teeth and they are replaced in the first year. So Roscoe, like all infants, is teething. Once Roscoe eats he is ready to play and play he does. Being a mellow fellow he often loves his alone time and this day is one of those days. Roscoe plays all alone with his toys and chewies under the antique sewing machine. It does not take long before he sees my slippers and runs full blast to attack them and to get me to pick him up which of course I simply must do! Then down on the floor so he can play and play till nap time! Roscoe is looking for his forever home. Will you be the one? Please give me a call and lets arrange a meeting. We welcome you into our home to met the family. Roscoe, his parents are here of course, Jeff and myself, I am Barb. And the family is here as well. Like his siblings, aunts, uncle and so on.. This is our family and we make sure the temperament of our dogs are gentle and engaging and they join together off and on through out the day for playtime which everyone loves. Our dogs love each other as much as they love us. All our Darlings are allowed in the house but yes some dogs need to be watched closer than others. They are Doxies after all! We welcome you to our home and have a open door policy. After years of rescuing and breeding we have the knowledge, ethics and honesty you want in your breeder. We live in Salem Or in the center of the lovely Willamette Valley. We are here to answer your questions and address your concerns about the adoption process before, during and after the adoption. Adopting a new family member is a important step for any family. However knowing your families life style will help me point you in the right direction. If you have a had Dachshunds before then you know you are in for a delightful adventure. If you have never had a Doxie before then it is a wonderful adventure you will never forget. Ether way it is important that I ask you questions so your experience is a positive one. So open communication between us is important. I stay in touch with our extended family after the adoption and I love it. In doing so I have discovered that during the excitement of the adoption many of my words are lost due to puppy cuteness and excitement. Yes I take back seat to a puppy dog (Grin) But instead of handing you yet another piece of paper I want to encourage you to give me a call ask me any question you may have! Back to Roscoe! He has had two shots so far and has been wormed with two types of wormier that kills many types of worms. We will give you his health records and a list of recommended timeline for medical tests and vaccines. Bring this record with you when you do your well baby check with your vet. We feel it is very important to bring your pup to see your vet right away. Every vet is different and they may follow a different protocol than mine. If you do not have a vet I will refer you to one whom I use. Having been a rescuer gives us a different perspective than many other breeders and this includes the quality of our vet must be top notch as they help us make some very tough decisions over the years. Always shop for your vet!

We do not ship puppies. Please do not try and talk us into shipping we will not ship a puppy via airlines unless the pup is shipped in the cabin not the cargo hold. It is a policy that we have never broken.
Also you will not find Darling Dachshunds web site...because we do not have one. 90% of our puppies sell through referrals and word of mouth.We sell pet only Dachshunds to families of all types. Old, young, rich, and poor these are the people who we meet face to face so they can buy one of our puppies.
